Never Bored Studio ("we," "us") is operated by Never Bored LLC. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit neverboredstudio.com, buy from us or contact us, and how we use and protect it. We don't sell your personal information.

Information we collect

What you give us. Your name, email, phone number (optional), billing and shipping addresses, and order details when you buy. What you write in our contact and commission forms, plus any photos you send for a commission. Your email address when you join our mailing list.
Payment information. Payments are processed by Shopify Payments and other payment providers, such as PayPal. We never see or store your full card number.
Collected automatically. Like most websites, our store uses cookies and similar technologies to collect device and usage information, such as your browser type, IP address, pages viewed and how you found us.
From partners. Payment and shipping partners may share information we need to complete your order, such as delivery status.

How we use it

Process, ship and support your orders, including returns
Answer your questions and create your commission
Send order and shipping updates
Send marketing emails, only if you've signed up
Run, secure and improve our store, and help prevent fraud
Meet legal, tax and accounting requirements

We share personal information only as needed to run our shop:

Shopify, which hosts our store and processes payments. Shopify's privacy policy explains how it uses information.
Payment processors, to complete your purchase.
Shipping carriers, to deliver your order.
Service providers that help us run the shop, such as email and analytics tools, which must protect your information.
Authorities, when the law requires it or to protect our rights.
A buyer or successor, if our business is ever sold or merged.

We don't sell your personal information. If we ever use advertising cookies, such as for social media ads, we'll update this policy and give you a way to opt out.

Cookies

Cookies keep items in your cart, remember your preferences and show us which pages are popular. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the store, like checkout, may not work without them. Where the law requires it, we'll ask for your consent first.

Marketing emails

You'll get marketing emails only if you sign up. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, or you can email us to be removed. You'll still receive emails about orders you place.

How long we keep it

We keep order records as long as we need them for tax, accounting and legal purposes. We keep other information only as long as it's useful for the reasons above. Photos you send for a commission are kept only as long as we need them to finish your piece, unless you agree otherwise.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or get a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of certain uses. To make a request, email hello@neverboredstudio.com. We'll verify your identity before acting on it, and we'll never treat you differently for using your rights. You can also authorize someone to make a request for you.

Keeping it safe

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, and Shopify's checkout meets the payment industry's security standard (PCI DSS). No method of sending or storing information is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

Children

Our store is meant for adults. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Where information is processed

We're based in the United States. Shopify and our service providers may process information in other countries.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time, and the date at the top shows the latest version. If we make significant changes, we'll let you know as the law requires.
