Hello! I'm Turner, and I'm never bored!

I’ve spent my whole life chasing all things creative, with a particular passion for leaving this world more beautiful than I found it.

I grew up on a farm in West Texas, where the land is flat and the nearest... anything is a long, long drive away. By most measures, there wasn’t much to do. I never noticed. I was always busy inventing games, building things out of whatever was lying around, and drawing whatever my imagination came up with.

I carried that curiosity all the way to New York City. (Now there’s a place you could never get bored of!) That chapter opened me up to new experiences, widened my horizons, and let my imagination grow further than ever.

“No matter where I’ve been or what stage of life I was in, I was never bored. It’s turned out to be the most useful skill I’ve ever developed.”

What I make

Never Bored is what happens when that endlessly curious kid grows up, learns digital drawing, and pours more than forty years of life experience into hand-illustrated prints, one-of-a-kind digital artwork... and a little bit of magic.

Every design starts as an illustration I draw by hand. The look is warm and a little retro: the color palettes of old matchbooks and roadside motel signs, the kind of image that feels familiar even when you’ve never seen it before.

That artwork becomes:

  • Greeting cards: 5x7, blank inside, with envelopes
  • Boxed notecard sets: ten cards, one design or a themed mix
  • Postcards: 4x6, printed on both sides, and actually worth mailing
  • Art prints: 8x10, ready to frame
  • Canvas totes and stickers: the same illustrations, off the page

Everything is printed in small batches close to home in upstate New York, and packed in recyclable or compostable materials wherever possible.

A drawing a day

In January 2026, I joined the Art Maker’s Club and started drawing every single day. Each month brings a new theme. July's carnival theme inspired a new frontier for hand lettering and block printing styles, August’s alphabet became a love letter to Sharon Springs (it’s now the Village of Many Colors print), and October’s prompts are turning into my very own tarot deck.

The daily habit keeps my hands busy and my ideas fresh, and plenty of new designs start there. Follow along on Instagram, or see the latest drawings in the sketchbook.
